Sections
Manuscripts submitted for peer review must be unpublished (written in Spanish), the product of original research, and adhere to the topics considered by the RCLA. The types of manuscripts received are:
- Scientific articles
- Review articles
All manuscripts share the following characteristics:
- Double-blind review
- Spanish
- Open access
Specific details regarding the characteristics of each type of manuscript can be found in the Authors' Guide.
Postulation
The person responsible for the nomination is the “corresponding author” and will be the only one with whom communication will be maintained throughout the entire process. The documents and information required for the nomination are:
- Letter of application
- Front page
- Manuscript
- Authors' names and surnames: use only the Latin alphabet (AZ, az). Name of institution (only one affiliation per author is allowed), author's full address, name of institution, address and email, ORCID
For more information regarding the documents, please consult the Authors' Guide.
If the manuscript aligns with the journal's theme and meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines , a confirmation email will be sent, assigning a reference code that must be specified in any subsequent procedures or inquiries. Failure to comply with the criteria described in the Author Guidelines will result in rejection (for example, if the topic is outside the journal's scope or content is duplicated) or the manuscript will be returned for revision before the evaluation process begins.
Each document submitted to RCLA will be reviewed using professional software to detect similarities. If the tool detects a similarity greater than 10% with respect to other published works—in the sections of introduction, results and discussion, and conclusions—the submitted document will be rejected.
